Attention OPEIU Local 2 Members

BE UNION   BE SMART

If you want to get more involved in your union, then check out The Labor Studies Program of the Community College of Baltimore County, which is training hundreds of union staff, officers and members to be union leaders.

The Program offers college credit courses and continuing education workshops in the Montgomery County/PG County/DC area.

We are setting up our Spring, 2008, semester right now so classes will start in late January. Tuition for a 3-credit class is only $ 330.75, and may be covered by your tuition reimbursement. With 20 members, you can have a credit class of your own, in your geographic area or union hall, or you can join with activists from other unions in a class and build a network.
