OPEIU Local 2 Union Contract

Professional Staff Representation

Trained, full-time Local 2 staff representatives assist in negotiations, handling grievances and arbitrations,

 providing services to members.

Education Programs

Local 2 provides training and assistance in steward training, National Labor College

and OPEIU educational conferences.

Money-saving benefits, available only to un ion members, include a union credit card; mortgages, loans, legal service;

car rental discounts, travel agency, Perks Card, AFL-CIO Credit Union and much more.

Scholarship Programs

Local 2 OPEIU members and their children are eligible for free scholarships from the union and Union Plus.

Referral Programs

You have access to the Community Services Agency to assist union members in time of need and to increase the

participation and visibility of unions and members in the community.
