Racial Justice Working Group

Racial Justice Topics

We are a community within the labor movement and we must acknowledge what is necessary to lift up people of color to be a stronger voice for all working people we and if we’re not honest with ourselves about the challenges within our community then we can’t truly do that.

  • Discuss different aspects of racial and economic justice
  • Share stories and experiences to humanize issues that our friends and coworkers experience
  • Determine how to discuss the construct of race within OPEIU Local 2 shops and create best practices for how to deal with racial justice issues
